Psycho Thrills is Cicada’s third single lifted from their latest album Roulette. The album was issued on 8 June. The previous two singles promoting the album were Falling Rockets and Metropolis.

TINA TURNER’S LIVE CD

 

Tina Turner toured the world in 2008. This was to celebrate the anniversary of her 50 years on the stage. The Queen of Rock’n’Roll repaid her fans by visiting 10 countries. The tour started in Kansas in October 2008 and lasted 6 months. Tina played 60 sold out gigs. All of them ended with a standing ovation from the audience. Tina mesmerized her fans by being in such a fantastic condition. She is not going to slow down despite her imminent 70th birthday. To mark her tour a CD and DVD will be released on 28 September.

During the recording the mega-star Whitney worked with her long time friend, mentor and producer Clive Davies. She also involved NeYo, Akon and Swizz Beatz - top producers of the current generation.

BOOTY LUV ONCE AGAIN

 

Booty Luv’s new single Say It was released on 31 August. The single is in advance of the duet’s second album which will be out later this year. Cherise Roberts and Nadia Shepherd come from the hip-hop band Big Brovaz. They have performed as Booty Luv – an act created by Hed Kandi – since 2006.

Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel will be Mariah’s 12th studio album and a successor to last year’s, multi-platinum E=MC² and 2005’s Emancipation Of Mimi which sold more 10 milion copies worldwide.

BEYONCE'S NEW SINGLE

 

 

After the success of singles If I were a Boy, Single Ladies, and Halo Beyonce’s new single is due to be released. Sweet Dreams will come out in the UK on 20 July. The song promotes Beyonce’s latest album I am…Sasha Fierce.

ROBERT M'S DEBUT ALBUM

 

 

Robert M is an electro and house producer. His tracks are played by such important DJs as Marco V, Benny Benassi, Sasha, Moguai, Tom Novy, and Tiesto. Robert’s debut album Taxi contains 18 dance tracks produced by more than 20 different producers from Poland and abroad.

CICADA COME BACK WITH THEIR NEW ALBUM

 

 

Cicada’s new album was released on 8 June. The album Roulette is their first album in three years. Cicada are British producers Aaron Gilbert and Alex Payne, and the Icelandic vocalist Heidrun Anna Bjornsdottir. Metropolis was the first single lifted from the album.

KATHERINE ELLIS MESMERISED LONDON AUDIENCE

 

 

Katherine Ellis, who is one of the most popular dance vocalists, performed at the Ku Klub in London on 10 June. The famous diva sang her greatest hits such as And I Try and When You Touch Me and these really got her audience going. She proved she is a great vocalist. A success - without any doubt. 

GOSSIP WILL SHAKE THE MEN'S WORLD

 

 

The Gossip’s brand new album Music For Men will come out on 22 June. The project has been produced by the famous producer Rick Rubin. The music of the Gossip is a mixture of soul, gospel, rock, funk, disco, punk, passion and rebelion. The world heard about them for the first time in 2006. The main reason was their excellent single Standing in the Way of Control. The other reason was Beth Ditto who threw convention out of the window. She also has an excellent, unique, and strong voice. The first single taken from the album is Heavy Cross.

WHITNEY HOUSTON 

THE RETURN OF THE QUEEN OF SOUL

 

 

The queen of pop soul and one of the mega stars, Whitney Houston will come back with her brand new album after more than a seven year break. The album will be out on 31 August. The album’s title has not yet been revealed but is rumoured to be Undefeatable. Whitney is the most awarded artists ever. She received more than 411 awards including 6 Grammys. She also sold more than 170 million records and DVDs. 

PIXIE LOTT - A TEENAGER WITH A FUTURE

 

 

Mama Do is the first single of the very talented Pixie Lott. Eighteen year old Pixie signed her record deal with Island Def Jam Music Group (Universal Music) when she was just fifteen. The song Mama Do precedes her debut album Turn It Up which will be released on 7 September.

DEBUT OF THE MULTI - INSTRUMENTALIST LITTLE BOOTS

 

 

Little Boots new album was out on 8 June. The album Hands contains the current single New In Town. Little Boots comes from Blackpool was named as the sensation of the British electro scene. She began her musical journey at the age of 5 when she started playing piano. She wrote her first songs when she was only 13. 

KASABIAN'S FIREY COMEBACK

 

 

Kasabian are the heretics of the British rock scene. They are the rebels of XXI century but with romantic hearts. The new album, which is their third, was released on 8 June. The album The West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum is a combination of energetic melodies, electro-punk riffs, symphonic arrangements in a style of Ennio Morricone, and psychodelic lullabies. The album is promoted by the single Fire which became a huge hit in the UK. It reached Number 3 in the UK Singles Chart. 

MOBY RECORDED HIS NEW ALBUM AT HOME

 

 

Wait For Me is the title of Moby’s brand new album. The whole project was written and recorded at Moby’s home. He worked on it for more than a year. Moby describes the album as „calmer, more melodic and melancholic”. He reckons that wait For Me „is more personal than his previous songs”. Out on 29 June.

A BRILLIANT ALBUM FROM PATRICK WOLF

 

 

Patrick Wolf’s new album was premiered on 1 June. The Bachelor was released under Wolf’s label after the partition of his contract with Universal Records. The album is probably the best of his career. It is a mature project, conceptual and full of great melodies.
